has today begun a hunger strike outside the office of Willmott Dixon in
Coleshill in protest at the involvement in the construction of a new animal
lab at the University of Leicester.
campaigner commented "Midlands Animal Rights activists want to
mount the pressure on the company, and a 3 - 5 days hunger strike will start
as of Monday 7th June 2010 at 12 noon outside of their site. We are hoping
to publicise this in the local press as much as possible in order to expose
Willmott Dixon to the public and thus further the pressure on them to pull
out of their contract in helping to build the new vivisection laboratory
for Leicester University."
